Using Comic Art to Improve Speaking, Reading and Writing by Steve Bowkett and Tony Hitchman takes a look at children’s interest in pictures and comics as a way of developing creative writing, reading skills and oracy.
The book sets out a range of practical techniques and activities which focus on various aspects of the narrative. Aimed primarily at children, Using Comic Art gives a unique perspective on the use of comic books in education and, who knows, could be responsible for the next Mark Millar!
