The most exciting prospect is Marvel’s International Iron Man, A character deconstruction from Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev along the lines of their award-winning Daredevil run! Who is Tony Stark, really? On a journey that will carry Tony into new directions as a man and as a super hero, Iron Man will discover new things about the Marvel Universe he didn’t know existed before! We cannot wait for this one!
Dark Horse have a new Predator miniseries on the way called ‘Life And Death’. Written by Dan Abnett with art from Brian Thies, Colonial Marines battle the Weyland-Yutani over the possession of a mysterious horseshoe-shaped spaceship of unknown origin …until a band of Predators attacks!
With a new film set for release in 2016, Titan are publishing Independence Day by Victor Gischler and Dennis Calero. Beneath the Atlantic Ocean a mysterious craft prompts a top-secret investigation by the US military, one which could prove the key to humanity’s survival – or its ultimate destruction!
Spider-Man and Silk accidentally travel back in time to just before they got their spider-powers in Robbie Thompson and Todd Nauck‘s Spider-Man And Silk: The Spiderfly Effect, a four-issue tale of Amazing Anachronistic Arachnids!
Ben Aaronovitch‘s brilliant Rivers Of London returns for a second comic book miniseries, ‘The Night Witch’. A police transfer vehicle is stormed by Russian hoodlums seeking to free a very powerful witch who doesn’t want to be free. Things turn ugly and it’s soon a job for full-time police constable and part-time wizard, Peter Grant!
Also returning is Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham’s Miracleman, with their unfinished storyline ‘The Silver Age’! Young Miracleman is back and thrust into the 21st century, where his best friends have become gods and monsters. Remastered with stunning new artwork!
Fans of TV’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. might be pleased to know that Mockingbird has been given her own ongoing series. After a string of missions go wrong, Mockingbird has to find who or what is lurking within S.H.I.E.L.D.’s own medical and recovery network!
Finally, for those that like their comics a little more 90s in style, we have X-Men 92 from Chris Sims, Chad Bowers and Alti Firmansyah, continuing from the hit Secret Wars series starring the X-Men of a more extreme decade!
