DC are launching a new comic series titled ‘National Comics‘ this July, which will feature stand-alone stories focusing on particular DC characters.
National Comics kick off with ‘Eternity‘, from Jeff Lemire and Cully Hamner. Police coroner Christopher Freeman discovers the ability to resurrect the dead and partners with the recently deceased to find their murderers and grant them closure.
Etyernity will be followed by ‘Madame X‘, featuring the tale of an upstart law firm’s psychic consultant, ‘Rose and Thorn‘, a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde story of a good girl with a very bad side, and ‘Looker‘, which tells the story of a model turned vampire who prowls the dark underbelly of New York’s elite modeling world, hunting all predators, including the creature that spawned her.
