FREE COMIC BOOK DAY takes place on Saturday, May 3rd 2014.
There will be a number of events taking place in store and online (some of which will be announced nearer the date), details of which can be found on our dedicated FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2014 page.
This year marks the largest FREE COMIC BOOK DAY with close to sixty free comics available to choose from, including fan-favourite and new comic book characters that encourages readers to explore the fun and excitement that comics have to offer. There’s a free comic book for everyone’s taste from superheroes to action/adventure and all-ages favourites, including titles such as 2000 AD Special, Archie Digest, Bongo Free-For-All, Grimm Fairy Tales, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Hello Kitty And Friends, Mega Man / Sonic The Hedgehog, The New 52: Futures End Special, Rocket Raccoon, Spongebob: Freestyle Funnies, Teen Titans Go, The Tick, Transformers vs GI Joe and V-Wars.
So that everyone can enjoy some great free-reading, there is a limit of six free comics per family.
We are also running a competition to colour a picture of Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum and Lady Rainicorn from Adventure Time! The entry voted best by ACE will win a 6-Issue Subscription to a comic book of their choice and we will put our favourite entries on display instore and on our Facebook page.
