In 2015, Free Comic Book Day will be held on Saturday, 2nd May. There will be a number of events taking place in store and online (some of which will be announced nearer the date), details of which can be found right here on our dedicated Free Comic Book Day page! One of our very favourite artists, Des Taylor, creator of the highly anticipated Scarlett Couture and producer of incredible artwork, will be visiting the Colchester store on Free Comic Book Day from 12pm! Come along and meet Des and maybe pick up a signed copy of Scarlett Couture while you peruse the free comics!

Back Issue Sale
Once again, for Free Comic Book Day, the ACE Comics stores will be holding another of our renowned 50p Back Issue Sales. There will be thousands of specially selected back issues on sale at just 50 pence each in Colchester and Southend and in Red Hot Comics in Glasgow. This is always a very popular event during the day, so make sure you’re there early to grab a bargain!
Free Comics
There are 50 free titles available on Free Comic Book Day, including fan-favourite and new comic book characters that encourages readers to explore the fun and excitement that comics have to offer. There’s a free comic book for everyone’s taste from superheroes to action/adventure and all-ages favourites.
So that everyone can enjoy some great free-reading, there is a limit of three free comics per person (maximum six free comics per family). These will all be on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. For more information on each title, just hit the image below.
