Due to the high standards, it’s been a bit tricky to spot the treats served up on the front of this week’s comics!
Kicking off, Ivan Reis produced a wonderful, cinematic cover for Aquaman #13, while Dave Johnson made his umpteenth appearance in our shortlists for his cover to DC Vertigo‘s Ghosts. X-Men Legacy had a fine send-off with a ‘super’ cover to issue #275, courtesy of Mark Brooks and Tristan Jones has added to the excellent number of homage covers that Ghostbusters has enjoyed with a sublime zombie ‘Taxi Driver’ on issue #14.
Almost first past the post for week 44 was Joshua Luna‘s fantastic and striking art on Whispers #4, in fact any other week he could well have won Cover Of The Week, had it not been for…
…Witchblade #161 by John Tyler Christopher! John has incorporated a method seen before, but the execution is stunning and he has truly made Witchblade an eye-opener on the shelves!
