Here we go with a look at the prettiest pictures on this weeks comic store shelves…
This week saw the final issue of Avengers vs X-Men with a slew of additional covers, but it was the orginal by Jim Cheung, featuring Iron Man rocketing towards the reader, that really caught our collective eye. The presence of Scooby Doo was apparent in not only Scott Gross‘s excellent Mona Lisa cover for Scooby Doo Where are You #26, but also Matt Merhoff‘s homage ‘B’ cover to Hack/Slash #18 on Wednesday, while Adam Hughes turned in yet another beautiful cover for Fairest and Lee Bermego had an inspired use of an English breakfast on Before Watchmen: Rorschach #2.
But soaring above all of these great contenders was…
…Life with Archie #23‘s amazing variant cover by Francesco Francavilla who has produced a fantastic, brand new, ‘vintage’ cover.
Congrats to Francesco and Archie, they get the paper crown this week!
Thank you, guys 🙂 RT @ace_comics
