Marvel‘s huge success expanding into the world of TV and movies has had a positive effect on some of their franchises’ comic book counter-parts (see the recent Guardians Of The Galaxy series and the spin-offs for example). This trend continues in December when the popular Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV prompts the arrival of S.H.I.E.L.D., a new comic book series based on the TV show based on the comic book! Issue #1 is out on December 31st.
Ant-Man is next up. Released prior to the tiny hero’s big screen debut next year, and like the aforementioned movie, Ant-Man features Scott Lang and not Hank Pym, as our protagonist. The series begins on 14th January 2015!
Finally, following the events of AXIS, Uncanny Avengers begins again with a brand new team of assembled heroes on 7th January 2015, with the new Avengers: Age Of Ultron movie looking set to break records on it’s release next summer.
