2. Description of Goods and Services
ACE Comics operates as a specialist retailer of:
- • Comic books (new releases and back issues)
- • Graphic novels and trade paperbacks
- • Hardcover collected editions
- • Magazines
- • Subscriptions to ongoing comic titles
- • Limited-run miniseries subscriptions
- • Related pop culture and gaming products
Products may be sold as:
- • In-stock items
- • Preorders (not yet released)
- • Back orders (temporarily out of stock)
- • Special order items (ordered on request)
Each product listing includes a description, format, and pricing information. Images are representative and may vary from final published artwork.
3. Orders & Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase goods.
After placing an order:
- • You will receive an order confirmation email.
- • This email confirms receipt only.
- • A contract is formed only once we dispatch the goods.
We reserve the right to:
- • Refuse any order at our discretion
- • Cancel orders due to pricing errors
- • Limit quantities where necessary
You must be 18 years or over to place an order.
All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4. Pricing & Errors
We take care to ensure pricing is accurate. However:

- • If a pricing error is identified after ordering, we will contact you.
- • You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Promotional discounts do not qualify as pricing errors.

6. Delivery Policy
6.1 Dispatch Time
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 working days, unless otherwise stated (for example, preorders or special order items).
A contract for sale is completed when goods are dispatched.

UK shipping is free, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
ACE Comics Subscription Service – UK Rates
Shipping charges depend on format and selected delivery speed.
UK First Class (1–2 business days)
- • Comics – £3.25 + £0.30 per additional comic
- • Magazines – £3.50 + £0.60 per additional magazine
- • Softcover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks – £4.00 + £0.90 per additional softcover
- • Hardcover Graphic Novels – £5.00 + £1.50 per additional hardcover
UK Second Class (3+ business days)
- • Comics – £2.00 + £0.30 per additional comic
- • Magazines – £2.60 + £0.60 per additional magazine
- • Softcover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks – £3.00 + £0.90 per additional softcover
- • Hardcover Graphic Novels – £4.30 + £1.50 per additional hardcover
Postage within England, Wales and the Scottish Lowlands is capped at a maximum of £6.00 per shipment.
Special Order Graphic Novels (UK)
Shipping within the UK is free.
6.3 European & International Shipping
Shipping outside the UK is calculated at checkout where applicable, or invoiced separately if required.

6-Issue Subscriptions:

Miniseries Subscriptions:
- • Additional charges vary depending on destination and product weight.
Subscription Service – Europe (Airmail)
- • Comics – £7.00 + £1.25 per additional comic
- • Magazines – £8.00 + £2.00 per additional magazine
- • Softcover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks – £9.00 + £3.00 per additional softcover
- • Hardcover Graphic Novels – £12.00 + £4.50 per additional hardcover
Special Order Graphic Novels – Europe
- • Softcover – £6.90 + £2.00 per additional softcover
- • Hardcover – £9.99 + £3.50 per additional hardcover
For destinations outside Europe, shipping charges vary. Customers must contact us for a quotation prior to dispatch.
6.4 Customs & Import Duties
International customers are responsible for:
- • Import duties
- • Customs handling fees
- • Local taxes
- • Any documentation required for clearance
We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate them in advance.
6.5 Delivery Times
Please allow up to 28 daysfor delivery.
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- • Customs processing
- • Postal disruptions
- • Weather conditions
- • Courier service delays
If goods have not arrived within 28 days, you must contact us within a further 28 days so the matter can be investigated.
Full delivery costs are displayed to the customer before final checkout and payment confirmation where applicable.
7. Returns & Refund Policy

Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)
You have the right to cancel your order within:
14 days from the day you receive the goods.
To cancel:

You must return goods within 14 days of notifying us.
Condition of Returns
Returned items must be:
- • Unopened
- • In original packaging
- • In resalable condition
If items are unsealed (e.g. shrink-wrapped graphic novels), your right to cancel may be affected.
Refunds
We will refund:
- • The cost of the goods
- • Standard delivery cost (where required by law)
We do not refund:
- • Enhanced delivery upgrades
- • Return postage (unless goods are faulty)
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If goods are:
- • Faulty
- • Damaged
- • Incorrectly supplied
Please contact us within 28 days.
We will:
- • Replace like-for-like where possible, or
- • Provide a full refund (including shipping)
Return postage for faulty goods will be refunded.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
9. Preorders, Back Orders & Special Orders
Release dates are subject to change by publishers and distributors.
We are not responsible for:
- • Publisher cancellations
- • Manufacturer delays
- • Artwork changes
- • Format alterations
If a preorder is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.
10. Subscriptions
Ongoing subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your account.
If a publisher cancels a series mid-subscription:
- • Remaining issues will be refunded.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website is the property of Planet Ace Ltd or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- • Indirect or consequential losses
- • Losses arising from delayed delivery beyond our control
- • Third-party service failures (including payment processors)
Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The UK courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
