We’ve got a real treat instore for fans of ‘The Walking Dead’!
To celebrate the release of the latest volume of Robert Kirkman’s zombie epic, we are offering ‘Volume 18: What Comes After’ over the counter for only £8.99 on the weekend of the 8th and 9th June 2013. In addition to this, we have horror make-up expert Clive Double on hand in the Colchester store on Saturday, June 8th, to ‘zombie-fy’ people, and there may just be a zombie or two wandering around the streets outside!

FCBD: Iron Man Armour Competition Gallery!
Thanks to everyone who entered our ‘Design an Iron Man Armour’ competition. We had a great time looking at all of the incredible entries and were blown away by the talent on display, not to mention the fantastic ideas for Tony’s new armour.
You will be able to see the original art on display in the ACE Comics Stores and we have a ‘Hall of Armours’ gallery below.
There can, however, only be one winner and that winner is…
LUCAS FRASER from COLCHESTER!
Lucas came up with the Iron Man Avenger Armour, which incorporates elements from the rest of the Avengers! Congrats to Lucas, who gets an ACE Comics £10 Gift Voucher and the accolade of being our competition winner!

Rare Comics on eBay as Spawn’s Angela joins the Marvel Universe
Angela is on her way to the Marvel Universe!
The character of Angela was co-reated by Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane and originally appeared as part of Image Comics‘ Spawn series. Following a long-running legal battle over the rights to the character which resolved in 2012, awarding Gaiman a 50% co-ownership, it’s been announced that the redesigned Angela is to make her debut Marvel appearance in the Age Of Ultron finale which will lead into a role in Guardians Of The Galaxy!

Back Issues Spring Cleaning!
We’ve undertaken some spring cleaning in our back issue pages this week!
As well as bumping our sold-out titles from the back issue lists, we’ve tweaked the Back Issues page to make it slightly easier to find what you’re after – there are some easy-to-use icons to quickly find your desired publisher and we’ve rearranged our Independents section so all of the comics are in title order, rather than by publisher.
